Communications and measuring systems on high-capacity roads (HCR)
A well-functioning traffic management system is based on up-to-date data and a fast and reliable data network. We set up wireline and radio-based communications networks along HCRs and optimise the capacity utilisation of existing infrastructure. We test the communications channels with state-of-the-art measurement equipment. We implement the newest traffic recording systems and ensure that the data or images are transmitted to the closest sub- or main traffic control centre. Working together with the system providers, we provide partial services or manage major projects as the general contractor.
