The worldwide networking of people is already part of our everyday lives; as is planning, building and maintaining the associated ICT and network infrastructure solutions for cablex. 5G marks the next generation of mobile communications and is thus another step into the future. The 5G network extends communication and networking to machines and devices, namely the Internet of Things (IoT). In the future, the mobile network will offer more than just digital telephony and wireless Internet. 5G promises larger and faster data transfers, more network capacity, near-real-time responses, data security, increasing network reliability and, last but not least, increased efficiency. Until 5G becomes our company standard, 4G will be maintained in parallel based on LTE. 2G and 3G, on the other hand, are likely to be phased out in 2022.
Advice, planning, project planning.
Our engineers and specialists support you in the search for and acquisition of locations for a nationwide 5G network. We also carry out calculations of non-ionising radiation, plan the radio cells in buildings and undertake the planning of mast construction, thus creating the basis for a planning application.
Implementation.
As Switzerland's leading network infrastructure provider, we are able to convert and upgrade an existing network to 5G. Accordingly, we can handle the implementation of new sites as well as the conversion of existing ones. To this end, we carry out necessary system upgrades and antenna replacements, i.e. we install the new 5G antennas.
Project/Construction management and preparatory work.
We assume full responsibility for project and construction management, including the acquisition of sites. With professional preparation work, we optimise project schedules in addition to reserving materials and resources early to ensure smooth, cost-optimised implementation of projects.
Standby and repairs.
Even after the project has been completed, we assist you in maintaining the high quality of your network infrastructure. We offer modular service contracts, which are tailored to your specific needs. Our around-the-clock standby service keeps downtime to a minimum, and we ensure a high level of reliability so that you can serve your customers optimally. If required, our service technicians are available 24x7 throughout the whole of Switzerland.

Wieso braucht es 5G überhaupt?
5G ist die Voraussetzung für die Industrie von morgen, für die smarte Landwirtschaft der Zukunft oder dereinst für autonomes Fahren - das ist bekannt. Doch profitiert auch ein Privatkunde schon heute? Ja, wie dieses Video demonstriert - sogar wenn er selbst 5G gar nicht nutzt. Denn ohne 5G droht auf den Mobilnetzen der Datenstau.
In bereits über 4000 Studien untersuchten Wissenschaftler den Mobilfunk - und stellten in keiner einzigen eine Gefahr für Mensch oder Tier fest.
5G nutzt heute und in den kommenden Jahren nur Frequenzen, die seit langem im Einsatz waren. Darunter sogar solche, auf deren Wellenlängen Mediengeschichte geschrieben wurde.
Dieses Video zeigt, dass es keinen Grund gibt, wieso 5G gefährlicher sein könnte als seine Vorgängertechnologien. Denn vom Grundprinzip bis zu den genutzten Frequenzen ändert sich nämlich gar nichts.
Eine 5G-Antenne strahlt weder stärker, noch anders als andere Mobilfunk-Technologien. Es handelt sich dabei um sogenannte "nicht ionisierende Strahlung". Klingt mysteriös, ist aber in jeder Küche reichlich vorhanden. Wieso - das zeigt dieses Video.
