As a network electrician at cablex, you are at the forefront of digital infrastructure expansion. You are responsible for setting up and maintaining communication networks and upgrading them to the latest technology. Your activities include splicing fibreglass and copper cables, carrying out measurements and tests, and rectifying faults.
With us, you travel solo or as part of a team. The locations are more varied than in any other job. You'll find yourself working at lofty heights on overhead lines, on construction sites, in telecommunications exchanges, or directly on site with customers. In addition to a fully equipped, electric company vehicle, you will have access to state-of-the-art tools, an iPad (our systems are paperless) and your personal protective equipment.
