cablex realises ICT installation in Swisscom's Retina shops.

Perfectly situated in the heart of Zurich, Swisscom is opening a new shop directly opposite the central train station. The Retina concept will be rolled out here. The goal of this shop experience is to bring digitalisation to life for customers. The IT coordination of the development in eastern Switzerland is in the hands of the Field Services experts from cablex.

ICT installation in Swisscom's Retina shops

With around 10 million visitors each year, Swisscom shops are both the company's strongest sales channel and also one of the most important brand touchpoints for Swisscom customers. For the best shop experience, the Retina concept combines analogue approaches with digital presentation. The goal is to help better explain the products, awaken customers' curiosity and inspire them to try out what's on offer.

In 2022, cablex ICT project management realised eight shops in the regions Zurich, Frauenfeld and Rapperswil. In 2023, the number of projects for the Field Services team is set to increase yet again. As ICT project managers, Nadir Imad and Nermin Dilji are responsible for coordinating and monitoring all IT and electronics installations. The collaboration with the parent company could not be better. Swisscom ICT Project Manager Leo Egger is supporting the project with his expertise on site, and the Head of B2C Shop Coordination, Dominique Grecci, is working closely with the cablex project managers.
