Electrician m/f with Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency (EFZ).

Charge the e-scooter with self-produced solar power? Projector on, lights off - and both automatically? Connect the laptop to the company network in every office - whether via WLAN or LAN? Thanks to the display board in the station, you still catch the right train despite having to run?  This and much more is only possible thanks to you as an electrician with Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency (EFZ)!

Together with your team, you install the network behind the sockets - and therefore ensure trouble-free operation. No matter whether it's for installations and connections for electricity, telephony, Internet and television. Or for intelligent, energy-efficient building automation. You install electrical supply networks with all of the associated devices and systems - whether in new buildings or conversions in the commercial or industrial sector. You also take on installations of more complex networks and systems and learn to read and implement technical and schematic plans. You test and check the functionality, fix faults where necessary and, of course, also take care of maintenance.

Your education.

  • 4 years
  • 1 to 2 days of vocational training per week
  • 4 industry-wide courses

What you bring.

School leaving certificate – Check!

You have completed compulsory education at the middle elementary school level with very good results or at the upper elementary school level with good results.

Your strengths at school.

Your strengths lie in geometry, mathematics and physics. What's more, you can communicate very well in German, both orally and in writing.

Technical flair.

You have a flair for technical and logical relationships. Electrical and electronic issues arouse your ambition.

Manual dexterity.

Thanks to your manual dexterity and fine motor skills, you complete manual work quickly and surely.

Thanks to your resilient constitution, wind and weather won't knock you down so quickly.

Total concentration.

You pay attention to precision, work in a focused manner and enjoy working with others. Even if there are safety precautions, you work with electricity and this requires responsible behaviour.

You like to be out and about - be it in commercial, office and industrial facilities, but also in power plants and on construction sites. Thanks to your pleasant manner, you get along with everyone without any problems.

Good perception of colours.

You have no limitations when it comes to seeing colours, so you can accurately distinguish the cable colours.
