Many pieces fall together in Engineering: the jobs from Swisscom, the needs of the end customer and implementation/realisation planning out in the field. If Engineering does not plan right, then the installation technicians lack the information they need to build a high-quality network. Patrick Kunz is Head of Engineering at cablex in the Wireline Construction unit. He provides insight into the key areas of responsibility and the role of Engineering in the end-to-end process.
